I love the ELR commercial. I think it's a lot of old school Americana, but with an eye on the future. It's unapologetic in its brashness, and witty in its tongue in cheek delivery. The C-Max commercial is just a pale "me too" hoping to appeal to the hippy hipsters who are riding on this "we are the future" kick. It's the kind of commercial Toyota would make for the Prius if they had the nuts to step to Chevy.

Agreed. The C-Max commercial was you know, just another commercial, but the ELR one was pretty unique.

Completely right. By going with the "Eco" edge, it's blends in with everyone green message.
